The University of Guelph offers a BSc in Microbiology for a duration of 4 years (8 semesters).
This course is offered on a full-time basis.
In this program, students will study the smallest and most predominant organisms on the planet: bacteria, archaea, viruses, yeasts, and molds.
Through this course, students will explore varied topics, from deep-sea ecosystems, or the normal microbial inhabitants of the human body, to practical matters of public health.
With an optional co-op, discover the medical, industrial, and environmental impacts of microorganisms and learn about the methods used to study and utilize them for biotechnology or bioremediation.
