Geography is a particularly broad discipline. It focuses on the differentiation of (natural and cultural) spaces of the Earth.
It describes and explains the relationships between models and evaluations of space in order to draw consequences for spatial planning.
Thus, the field is concerned with natural as well as social and economic issues. Geography is divided into two large subdisciplines, each with various areas of specialization: physical and cultural geography.
