The Honors in Applied Mathematics program trains students to apply mathematical ideas to solve practical problems that arise in the physical, life, and social sciences, as well as in engineering and finance.
In addition to offering courses in pure mathematics, this program also offers courses that focus on using theoretical mathematics to solve problems – hence, applied mathematics.
This program can only be taken as part of a BSc with Honors degree.
