Welcome to English as a Second Language at Troy University. We have an intensive English program with 6 levels, a selection of optional classes for those not in ESL, and short programs for special groups.
Intensive English especially helps students who want to study for an academic degree at Troy University. Intensive English has 8-week terms and starts in August, October, January, March, and May. The term beginning in May is our Summer Program, with many trips and activities included in the tuition cost.
Students in ESL have regular Troy university student ID cards, which means you will have full access to all student facilities and events. You can also join our Conversation Partners program (no cost) and meet with a US student to practice English conversation and to learn more about US culture.
