  • Electronic engineering technologists assist in the design, programming, manufacture, and operation of electrical/electronic control systems.
  • They “design” and “troubleshoot” systems to ensure efficient process operations and perform system programming functions.
  • Students will gain skills and knowledge across multiple aspects of industrial automation including fundamental electrical analysis, industrial wiring, motor control, and automation principles.
  • Students will also learn to design automation and systems that are safe to operate, eliminate repetitive operator work, in order to manufacture quality products.
  • This program will appeal to students with a strong background in the physical sciences and math. Students should be highly motivated problem solvers with good communication and interpersonal skills.
