Our nation is burdened by high rates of nutrition related chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, overweight, and obesity. Pace University’s nutrition and dietetics program is designed to help students address these challenges head on by learning how to teach people to prepare healthful, delicious foods as well as to improve access to healthful, affordable food for everyone.
Our program focuses on the power of prevention and food as medicine. We believe that by giving students the knowledge and skills to work in these key areas of nutrition we will be enabling tomorrow’s Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) to help people eat well, prevent and reduce chronic disease, and promote longevity.
