Through a combination of lectures and practical experience, this one-year program will prepare students to work as an animal groomer. Graduates of this program are equipped with a solid base of technical skills and knowledge in animal grooming, including both classic cuts and those that follow current trends in the field.
They will be able to work in a number of settings, such as veterinary clinics, veterinary hospitals, pet grooming centres and pet stores. They will also be able to start their own business.
